CIA Operation Failed In India – AAP MP Raghav Chadha Joins BJP

Was there any CIA Operation in India via Aam Aadmi Party – AAP, Raghav Chadha, Swati Maliwal & a few others? Although the declassified CIA records clearly indicate their involvement in Indian Politics, they still wanted control in the Indian corridors of power. This requires a thorough analysis of the Indian Political Scenario.

The Initiation - India Against Corruption (IAC)

Since the year 2006, several CIA-backed American NGOs started transferring to Indian NGOs in India, with the concise aim to bring corruption to the forefront to later install a CIA puppet in the helm of power in India. The CIA, using its funds, covertly created an atmosphere against Corruption succeeded in the same establishing an Organization in India named India Against Corruption, which had matured persons like Shri Anna Hazare (unaware of this CIA Involvement) and several others. The Anti – Corruption Agitation reached it’s peak in 2011 – 2012.

The CIA’s Entry Via AAP in Indian Politics:

As a result of the IAC agitations, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was formed by Shri Arvind Kejriwal in the year 2012. In the year 2013, AAP came to power, and Shri Arvind Kejriwal was made the Chief Minister of Delhi. The AAP successively won elections and remained in power from 2013 till 2025.

The US & Western Connect:

Shri Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on 21st March 2024, and later on 26th June 2024 by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). These arrests were made on various charges, including Delhi Excise Policy (Liquor Policy Case), Money Laundering, Extortion, and various other crimes. He finally resigned as the CM of Delhi on 17th September 2024.

During the period  of his arrest, the CIA managed several Western powers to contact the Government of India for the release of Shri Arvind Kejriwal, which includes Germany’s Foreign Office (22nd March 2024), the United States State Department (25th March 2024), the United Nations (28th March 2024), and International Human Rights Entities like Amnesty International, etc. This was nothing but unlawful interference in the internal judicial affairs of India.

The CIA – Khalistan Nexus:

During the period of arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, the infamous Khalistani Activist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, founder of Sikh for Justice (SFJ) and CIA agent, also released several videos revealing the Khalistani funding of about $ 16 Million to the AAP from 2014 to 2022, alleging Kejriwal of having cheating the Khalistani Movement.

AAP – CIA Connect:

As per reliable sources, the Khalistani and CIA connections and financial funding to AAP used to be handled mainly via Raghav Chadha, Swati Maliwal and a few others.

India's Action on Foreign Contribution:

Under the leadership of PM Modi, India brought in several changes to the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) since 2014 - 2015, starting with the initial mass crackdown. Then in 2020 the FCRS was amended for compliance:- 1) Prohibited NGOs from sub-granting funds to smaller NGOs. 2) Slashed administrative expense caps from 50% to 20%. 3) Mandated all funds be received in a single SBI branch in New Delhi.

In the year 2022, several licences had expired, and the renewal of many licences was refused, which also includes Missionaries of Charity and Oxfam India. In 2024, strategic cancellations were made. Major international entities like World Vision India and CASA had their licenses cancelled for alleged violations of funding norms and activities outside their stated mandate.

In March 2026, India introduced an Asset Control Bill, which allows a "Designated Authority" to seize and manage assets of NGOs whose licenses are cancelled or lapsed. It also formalizes the "automatic cessation" of registration if renewal isn't secured on time.

CIA Team gets fractured:

With Raghav Chadha and 6 other AAP Rajyasabha MPs having joined the BJP, out of the total 10 AAP Rajyasabha MPs, only 3 MPs remain with AAP, being Sanjay Singh, N. D. Gupta, and Balbir Singh Seechewal.

The Process:

It is already known that on 13th March 2024, there was a major tiff between Kejriwal and Swati Maliwal, which was also reported by the media. Thereafter, there had been a continuous cold war going on between Kejriwal and Raghav Chadha, which finally broke out in April 2026, thereby resulting in MP Raghav Chada leaving AAP and joining along with 5 other AAP Rajyasabha MPs and giving a big jolt to the AAP and i’s kingpin.

The CIA Involvement Analysis:

The Designs of US CIA Funding / Foreign Funding from the West NGOs to NGOs in India since the year 2006 for various agitations like the India Against Corruption (IAC), Kisan Andolan, Anti – CAA Agitations in India, moreover, the covert operations for regime change in other nations are no longer hidden stories anymore.

In this background, if big players and major entities like the Government of Germany, US Federal Government, and the United Nations start speaking loudly for a person like Arvind Kejriwal, that itself indicates the international connections, and no other agency in the West is as powerful as the CIA to bring so many Western entities on the same page. Hence, this confirms the CIA's involvement in Indian internal political affairs.

CIA’s Revenge Possibility:

My research into declassified CIA documents during my association with the United States Information Service (USIS) reveals a history of covert interference and regime changes globally. Given this track record, the possibility of covert retaliatory actions—ranging from civil disruption to targeting top ruling politicians and top officials—cannot be dismissed. Unlike pre-2014 governments in India, the current Indian dispensation prioritizes national interest over Western alignment, potentially making it a target for those seeking to undermine India's independent foreign policy
